Sensex up 49pts at 12,397

The Sensex is now up 49 points at 12,397.

Larsen & Toubro has rallied 2.6% to Rs 2,705. ONGC has gained 2.5% at Rs 1,358.

Hindalco has surged over 2% to Rs 230. Tata Steel is up 1.2% at Rs 663.

Reliance has moved up 1.7% to Rs 1,098.

HLL has dropped 2.3% to Rs 286. Gujarat Ambuja has slipped over 1% to Rs 117.

ICICI Bank is down 1.5% at Rs 650.

Out of 2,519 stocks traded so far, 1,498 have advanced, 971 have declined and 50 are unchanged.
