Sensex up 49pts; Bajaj Auto rallies 2%

The Sensex is now up 49 points at 15,592.

Bajaj Auto has rallied 1.8% to Rs 2,375. Reliance Energy has moved up 1.5% to Rs 873, and Tata Steel has added 1.3% to Rs 718.

NTPC has slipped 1% to Rs 194.

Out of 2,529 stocks traded so far, 1,731 have advanced, 733 have declined and 65 are unchanged.
