Sensex up 49pts; Infosys gains 3%

The Sensex is now up 49 points at 13,236.

Infosys has surged 2.8% to Rs 2,128. Dr.Reddy's has advanced nearly 2% to Rs 791.

Tata Motors has gained 1.5% at Rs 828, and HDFC has moved up 1.3% to Rs 1,546.

Reliance Communications, Bharti Airtel, Satyam and TCS are up 1% each at Rs 393, Rs 550, Rs 426 and Rs 1,070, respectively.

Hindalco has slipped 1% to Rs 185. ACC, Bajaj Auto, NTPC, Maruti and BHEL are the other significant losers.

The market breadth is marginally positive - out of 2,460 stocks traded so far, 1,316 have advanced, 1,068 have declined and 76 are unchanged.
