Sensex up 50pts; breadth extremely +ve

The Sensex is now up 50 points at 15,554.

Reliance Energy, BHEL and ONGC have moved up over 1% each to Rs 919, Rs 1,918 and Rs 845, respectively.

HDFC Bank has slipped over 1% to Rs 1,213.

Most of the index stocks are trading on a flat note.

The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 2,180 stocks traded so far, 1,419 have advanced, 712 have declined and 49 are unchanged.
