Sensex up 50pts; Reliance Energy soars 4%

The Sensex is now up 50 points at 15,472.

Cipla has zoomed nearly 5% to Rs 180. Reliance Energy has soared 4% to Rs 808.

Grasim has surged 2.3% to Rs 3,004. HDFC has rallied 1.7% to Rs 2,035.

Infosys and TCS are up over 1% each at Rs 1,885 and Rs 1,070, respectively.

Hindalco and Tata Motors have dropped nearly 2% each to Rs 157 and Rs 690, respectively.

ITC, ONGC, Bajaj Auto, NTPC, BHEL and Bharti Airtel are down over 1% each at Rs 172, Rs 832, Rs 2,295, Rs 183, Rs 1,920 and Rs 862, respectively.

Out of 2,635 stocks traded so far, 1,639 have advanced, 926 have declined and 70 are unchanged.
