Sensex up 51pts; Bharti, ITC weak

The Sensex is now up 51 points at 12,225.

Satyam and Bajaj Auto have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 840 and Rs 2,904, respectively.

Reliance and HDFC have moved up 1.2% each to Rs 1,178 and Rs 1,408, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, Reliance Communications and Tata Motors are up 1% each.

Bharti Airtel has slipped 1% to Rs 469. ITC is the other notable loser.

Out of 2,147 stocks traded so far, 1,304 have advanced, 779 have declined and 64 are unchanged.
