Sensex up 52 points

The Sensex touched an intra-day high of 9399, and is now up 52 points at 9375. The Nifty is up 10 points at 2832.

Hindalco is up 2.6% at Rs 143 followed by Dr.Reddy's up 2.3% at Rs 972. Grasim at Rs 1,381, Reliance Energy at Rs 608, BHEL at Rs 1,392, HLL at Rs 198, NTPC at Rs 112, ITC at Rs 141, ICICI Bank at Rs 580, Larsen & Toubro at Rs 1,816, SBI at Rs 901 and Maruti at Rs 633 are up 1-2% each.

On the other hand ONGC down 1.1% at Rs 1,176 is the major loser followed by Tata Motors at Rs 651, HDFC at Rs 1,211, Satyam at Rs 728 are marginally down.
