Sensex up 52pts; Infosys, HDFC shine

The Sensex is now up 52 points at 13,239.

Infosys has advanced 2.2% to Rs 2,116. HDFC has gained 1.7% to Rs 1,552.

Tata Motors and Bharti Airtel have moved up 1.3% each to 827 and Rs 551, respectively.

TCS, Reliance Communications, Satyam and ONGC are the other prominent gainers.

Maruti, Hindalco and ACC have slipped 1% each to Rs 945, Rs 185 and Rs 1,010, respectively.

Bajaj Auto and Reliance are the other significant losers.

Out of 2,381 stocks traded so far, 1,268 have advanced, 1,035 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
