Sensex up 52pts, Maruti zooms 4%

The Sensex is now up 52 points at 8,433.

ITC is steady at Rs 1,92- - up 2.2% (Rs 42). SBI is up Rs 11 at Rs 912. Reliance is still down Rs 3 at Rs 762.

Infosys has moved up Rs 4 to Rs 2,453.

HDFC Bank has shed some gains, but is still up 2.7% (Rs 19) at Rs 708. ICICI Bank is still up Rs 8 at Rs 551.

Maruti has gained over 4% (Rs 24) to Rs 586. Bajaj is up Rs 19 at Rs 1,666. Tata Motors and Hero Honda are still trading with gains.

Pharma scrips are steady at higher levels.
