Sensex up 52pts, SBI drops 2%

The Sensex is now up 52 points at 10,905.

Infosys has surged 3% to Rs 3,054. TCS and Satyam have gained 1.7% each at Rs 1,877 and Rs 718, respectively. Wipro has added 1.2% to Rs 476.

Cipla has spurted over 2% to Rs 242. Reliance has moved up 1.4% to Rs 970.

Larsen & Toubro (Rs 2,472), ITC (Rs 180) and Tata Power (Rs 512) are up 1% each.

SBI has dropped 1.8% to Rs 867. Tata Motors and HDFC Bank have declined 1.3% each to Rs 814 and Rs 751, respectively.

Tata Steel is down 1.2% at Rs 555.

Out of 2,457 stocks traded so far, 1,350 have advanced, 1,034 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
