Sensex up 549pts; BHEL zooms 12%

The Sensex is now up 549 points at 9478.

BHEL has zoomed over 12% to Rs 1,803. Grasim has surged over 11% to Rs 1,773.

Hero Honda and HDFC Bank have gained over 9% each at Rs 705 and Rs 700, respectively.

Infosys has moved up 8.5% to Rs 2,693.

Out of 2,398 stocks traded so far, 1,600 have advanced, 751 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
