Sensex up 54pts, Tata Steel gains 2%

The Sensex is now up 54 points at 14,169.

Tata Steel has moved up nearly 2% to Rs 491.

Tata Motors has gained 1.7% to Rs 974. Bajaj, Maruti and Hero Honda are also trading with gains of 1% each.

Wipro is still up over 1% at Rs 645.

L&T has gained over 1% to Rs 1,539.

SBI is also up over 1% at Rs 1,222. Reliance is up Rs 8 at Rs 1,355.

Advances are ahead of declines - out of 1,895 scrips traded till now, 1,426 have logged gains.
