Sensex up 56pts; TCS, Infosys down 1%

The Sensex is now up 56 points 13,985.

SBI has soared 3.5% to Rs 1,269. HDFC Bank has advanced over 2% to Rs 1,032, and ICICI Bank has added 1.5% to Rs 900.

Reliance Communications has surged 2.3% to Rs 486, and BHEL have gained 2% at Rs 2,570.

Hindalco has rallied 1.7% to Rs 148. HLL and NTPC have moved up 1.3% each to Rs 196 and Rs 158, respectively.

Hero Honda has tumbled 2.8% to Rs 678. TCS and Infosys have slipped over 1% each to Rs 1,222 and Rs 1,950, respectively.

Out of 2,495 stocks traded so far, 1,563 have advanced, 854 have declined and 78 are unchanged.
