Sensex up 57pts; DLF, Tata Steel surge 2%

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 105 points at 19,708. The index is now up 57 points at 19,660.

DLF and Tata Steel have surged nearly 2% each to Rs 965 and Rs 854, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro has moved up 1.4% to Rs 4,235.

ACC, BHEL and Hindalco are up over 1% each at Rs 1,105, Rs 2,794 and Rs 194, respectively.

TCS has slipped 1.3% to Rs 1,040.

Wipro and ICICI Bank are down 1% each at Rs 489 and Rs 1,154, respectively.
