Sensex up 57pts; Infosys rallies 3%

The Sensex is now up 57 points at 13,456.

Infosys has rallied 3% (Rs 63) to Rs 2,224. TCS has surged 2.4% to Rs 1,100. Satyam has gained 1.6% at Rs 433, and Wipro is up nearly 1% at Rs 547.

Larsen & Toubro has moved up 1.3% to Rs 1,355. ICICI Bank and ONGC are up over 1% each at Rs 881 and Rs 850, respectively.

HLL has shed 2.3% to Rs 247. Hindalco and NTPC have dropped 1.7% each to Rs 179 and Rs 136, respectively.

Bajaj Auto, Tata Steel and Cipla are down 1% each at Rs 2,570, Rs 492 and Rs 266, respectively.

Out of 2,497 stocks traded so far, 1,444 have declined, 978 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
