Sensex up 57pts; ITC zooms 5%

The Sensex is now up 57 points at 10,099.

ITC has soared 5.3% to Rs 175. HDFC has zoomed 3.3% to Rs 1,081. Reliance has gained 2.3% to Rs 1,004.

Tata Motors and HLL have advanced 2% each to Rs 745 and Rs 219, respectively. Tata Steel has added 1.5% to Rs 503.

RCoVL has dropped 4.3% to Rs 231. Reliance Energy has shed 3.5% to Rs 431. HDFC Bank has slipped 2.7% to Rs 740.

Cipla and BHEL have declined 1.7% each to Rs 214 and Rs 1,807, respectively.

Out of 2,204 stocks traded so far, 1,670 have declined, 484 have advanced and 50 are unchanged.
