Sensex up 57pts; ONGC, Bajaj weak

The Sensex is now up 57 points at 15,375.

Dr.Reddy's has soared 3.5% to Rs 663. NTPC and Cipla have surged 3% each to Rs 179 and Rs 172, respectively.

Maruti and ICICI Bank have rallied over 2% each to Rs 887 and Rs 904, respectively.

Ranbaxy has gained 1.7% at Rs 398. Hindalco, ITC, HDFC Bank and BHEL are up over 1% each at Rs 160, Rs 173, Rs 1,185 and Rs 1,908, respectively.

ONGC has shed 1.7% to Rs 843. Bajaj Auto has slipped 1% to Rs 2,322.

Wipro and Bharti Airtel are the other notable losers.

Out of 2,649 stocks traded so far, 1,885 have advanced, 718 have declined and 46 are unchanged.
