Sensex up 58pts; breadth turns -ve

The Sensex is now up 58 points at 15,809.

The NSE Nifty is up 13 points at 4,767.

Wipro has zoomed 4.5% to Rs 433, and Satyam has soared over 4% to Rs 424. TCS has surged 3% to Rs 877, and Infosys has gained 2% at Rs 1,512.

Hindalco has rallied nearly 3% to Rs 171. Jaiprakash Associates, Reliance and Tata Steel have moved up nearly 2% each to Rs 236, Rs 2,384 and Rs 657, respectively.

ONGC has added 1.5% to Rs 1,026.

BHEL has plunged 4% to Rs 1,778. Maruti has tumbled 3.8% to Rs 781, and Reliance Energy have shed 3.5% at Rs 1,188.

Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Motors have slipped around 2.5% each to Rs 650 and Rs 624, respectively. Grasim is down 1.5% at Rs 2,576.

The market breadth has turned negative - out of 2,506 stocks traded so far, 1,276 have declined, 1,166 have advanced and 64 are unchanged.
