Sensex up 58pts; Cipla, Wipro weak

The Sensex is now up 58 points at 15,674.

ITC has soared 2.8% to Rs 180. ONGC and Hindalco have surged 2.5% each to Rs 858 and Rs 159, respectively.

NTPC has advanced 1.7% to Rs 189, and Reliance Communications has added 1.3% to Rs 547.

Cipla and Wipro have slipped 1.3% each to Rs 183 and Rs 472, respectively.

Out of 2,669 stocks traded so far, 1,669 have advanced, 931 have declined and 69 are unchanged.
