Sensex up 58pts; ONGC down 2%

The Sensex is now up 58 points at 13,053.

Reliance Communications has soared 4% to Rs 419. SBI has rallied 3% to Rs 1,217.

Gujarat Ambuja has surged 2.6% to Rs 134. ICICI Bank and Reliance have advanced over 2% each to Rs 823 and Rs 1,233, respectively.

Bharti Airtel, Larsen & Toubro, HDFC Bank, NTPC and Grasim are the other major gainers.

ONGC has slipped over 2% to Rs 787. Cipla and Tata Steel have shed 1.8% each to Rs 236 and Rs 433, respectively.

HLL, Wipro and Infosys have dropped 1.5% each to Rs 220, Rs 552 and Rs 2,135, respectively. ITC is down 1% at Rs 172.

Out of 2,482 stocks traded so far, 1,237 have declined, 1,178 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
