Sensex up 58pts; Tata Motors gains 2%

The Sensex is now up 58 points at 14,149.

Tata Motors has rallied over 2% to Rs 896. Wipro and Reliance Communications have surged around 1.5% each to Rs 623 and Rs 467, respectively.

ITC has gained 1.3% at Rs 176. Reliance Energy and Bharti Airtel are up around 1% each at Rs 520 and Rs 714, respectively.

HLL and Tata Steel have slipped over 1% each to Rs 206 and Rs 459, respectively.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,225 stocks traded so far, 1,246 have moved up, 931 have slipped and the rest are unchanged.
