Ranbaxy has gained 4.8% to Rs 529. HDFC is up 3.8% at Rs 2,526. Bhel has advanced 3.6 % at Rs 1,658. L&T is up 3.5% at Rs 2,991. Hindalco has gained 3.3% at Rs 195.
Bharti, Tata Steel and HDFC Bank are trading over 1.9% at Rs 877, Rs 913 and Rs 1,350, respectively. Infosys, ONGC, Cipla, DLF,M&M, ITC and and HUL are all trading over 1%.
Jaiprakash Associates has declined 2% to Rs 220. Ambuja Cements has lost 1.9% at Rs 95. ICICI Bank and Reliance and SBI have lost 1% to Rs 787, Rs 2,440 and Rs 1,449, respectively.
Satyam and Wipro are down less than 1%.
