The Sensex is now up 598 points at 13,914.
DLF has zoomed 8.7% to Rs 430. HDFC and Infosys have soared 7.5% each to Rs 2,293 and Rs 1,636, respectively.
TCS has surged 7% to Rs 770. ICICI Bank and Satyam have rallied nearly 6.5% each to Rs 613 and Rs 356, respectively.
Bharti Airtel has gained 5.5% at Rs 803. HDFC Bank and Reliance have advanced 5% each to Rs 1,286 and Rs 2,028, respectively.
Reliance Communicaitons. Reliance Infrastructure, BHEL and Wipro are up around 3.5% each at Rs 373, Rs 889, Rs 1,681 and Rs 415, respectively.
Out of 2,480 stocks traded so far, 1,768 have advanced, 639 have declined and 73 are unchanged.
