Sensex up 59pts, HDFC gains 2%

The Sensex is now up 59 points at 13,956.

Tata Steel has zoomed over 4% to Rs 557. Reliance Energy is up nearly 3% at Rs 525.

HDFC has moved up 2% to Rs 1,685.

Satyam has gained 2% to Rs 485. Infosys is up nearly 1% at Rs 2,075.

Hindalco, ONGC, L&T and NTPC are trading with gains.

HLL continues to trade weak at Rs 203. ITC is still down 3% at Rs 155.
