Sensex up 59pts; Infosys stands firm, up 3%

The Sensex is now up 59 points at 10,912.

Infosys has rallied 3% to Rs 3,055. Satyam had added 1.5% to Rs 716. Wipro and TCS are up 1% each at Rs 476 and Rs 1,865, respectively.

Cipla has gained over 2% at Rs 242. Tata Power has added 1.7% to Rs 515, and Reliance is up 1.2% at Rs 968.

SBI and Tata Motors have dropped 2% each to Rs 865 and Rs 810, respectively. HDFC Bank and Gujarat Ambuja have slipped over 1% each to Rs 752 and Rs 97, respectively.

Out of 2,482 stocks traded so far, 1,317 have advanced, 1,083 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
