Sensex up 59pts; L&T rallies 4%

The Sensex is now up 59 points at 13,367.

Larsen & Toubro has surged 4% to Rs 1,635. Cipla and BHEL have  soared 3% each to Rs 242 and Rs 2,295, respectively.

ACC has advanced over 2% to Rs 770. ICICI Bank and HDFC have added 1.7% each to Rs 916 and Rs 1,600, respectively.

Wipro, Dr.Reddy's, Bharti Airtel and SBI are the other major gainers.

ITC has slipped over 2% to Rs 146, and HDFC Bank shed 1.8% to Rs 1,005.

The market breadth is neutral - out of 2,479 stocks traded so far, 1,223 have declined, 1,172 have advanced and 84 are unchanged.
