Sensex up 59pts; Tata Motors rallies 2%

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 26 points at 12,570. The index touched a high of 12,639, and is now up 59 points at 12,602.

Tata Motors has rallied over 2% to Rs 741. Gujarat Ambuja and Grasim have gained 1.3% each at Rs 107 and Rs 2,044, respectively.

Satyam, ACC and Ranbaxy have advanced over 1% each to Rs 438, Rs 740 and Rs 314, respectively.
