Sensex up 5pts; breadth +ve

The Sensex is now up five points at 14,493.

Bharti Airtel and ONGC have surged 1.7% each to Rs 848 and Rs 932, respectively.

BHEL has moved up 1.5% to Rs 1,472. Tata Motors, Grasim and Tata Steel are up around 1% each at Rs 684, Rs 2,486 and Rs 2,486, respectively.

Ranbaxy has slipped over 2% to Rs 348. Wipro, ACC and Ambuja Cements have declined 1% each to Rs 509, Rs 848 and Rs 116, respectively.

Out of 2,671 stocks traded so far, 1,518 have advanced, 1,073 have declined and 80 are unchanged.
