Sensex up 5pts; ONGC gains 3%

The Sensex is up five points at 6,898.

ONGC has advanced 2.6% (Rs 23) to Rs 935. SBI has moved up 2.7% (Rs 20) to Rs 740. Reliance has gained Rs 6 to Rs 594. ITC is up nearly a per cent (Rs 10) at Rs 1,382.

Infosys has dropped 1.5% (Rs 33) to Rs 2,218. Wipro is down 1.4% (Rs 10) at Rs 704, and Satyam is down Rs 4 at Rs 415.

Bharti has declined 3% (Rs 7) to Rs 223.

Bajaj is up Rs 7 at Rs 1,103. While HDFC has advanced Rs 9 to Rs 810, HDFC Bank is up Rs 3 at Rs 621. Hindalco, HPCL, Maruti and Dr. Reddy's are also trading with gains.
