Sensex up 60pts; Bharti up 2%

The Sensex is now up 60 points at 13,763.

NTPC has rallied over 3% to Rs 155. Bharti Airtel has gained 2% at Rs 629.

Gujarat Ambuja and Hindalco have moved up 1.5% each to Rs 140 and Rs 180, respectively.

SBI, Wipro, ACC, Reliance Energy, ITC and ICICI Bank are up around 1% each at Rs 1,270, Rs 597, Rs 1,084, Rs 549, Rs 181 and Rs 883, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's has slipped over 1% to Rs 747.

Out of 2,486 stocks traded so far, 1,517 have advanced, 886 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
