Sensex up 60pts; Infosys slips 3%

The Sensex is now up 60 pooints at 16,383.

Mahindra & Mahindra has soared 2.6% to Rs 760. Hindalco and Bharti Airtel have surged 2% each to Rs 163 and Rs 904, respectively.

Tata Motors has rallied 1.8% to Rs 735. ITC, Larsen & Toubro and ONGC have moved up around 1.5% each to Rs 190, Rs 2,707 and Rs 914, respectively.

NTPC, Bajaj Auto and Hindustan Unilever are up 1% each at Rs 192, Rs 2,536 and Rs 219, respectively.

Infosys has shed nearly 3% to Rs 1,801, and TCS has dropped 2% to Rs 1,001.

Satyam and Wipro have slipped over 1.5% each to Rs 423 and Rs 441, respectively.
