Sensex up 60pts; NTPC up 3%

The Sensex is now up 60 points at 13,763.

NTPC has rallied 3% to Rs 155. Bharti Airtel has gained 2% at Rs 629.

ACC and Gujarat Ambuja have surged 1.5% each to Rs 1,088 and Rs 140, respectively.

Hindalco, Wipro and SBI are up over 1% each at Rs 180, Rs 597 and Rs 1,270, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's has slipped 1.5% to Rs 744.

Out of 2,509 stocks traded so far, 1,486 have advanced, 953 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
