Sensex up 60pts; Pratibha trades at a 90% premium

The Sensex has touched a high of 10,932, and is now up 60 points at 10,920.

Grasim has surged 2.5% to Rs 1,972, and Hindalco has moved up 2.3% to Rs 163.

The market breadth is positive. Out of 2,199 stocks traded so far, 1,175 have advanced, 968 have declined and the rest are unchanged.

Newly listed Pratibha Industries has zoomed over 11% to Rs 228. The stock now trades at a whopping 90% premium ot its issue price of Rs 120.

Sunil Hitech, Zee, Kirloskar Oil, Whirpool, Ceat, Sundaram Clayton, Aftek, GTL, Escorts, Sterlite and Hindustan Zinc are the other major gainers.

Goetze India, Atul, Infotech Enterprise, Aksh Optifibre, Aarti Drugs, Unitech, GE Shipping, SKF India, IndusInd Bank and Dena Bank are in declining mode.
