Sensex up 61pts; breadth +ve

The Sensex is now up 61 points at 13,678.

Bharti Airtel and Reliance Energy have gained around 2.5% each at Rs 639 and Rs 547, respectively. Satyam has spurted 2.2% to Rs 463.

Wipro has added 2% to Rs 580. Gujarat Ambuja has moved up 1.6% to Rs 139.

Reliance Communications, ICICI Bank, Larsen & Toubro, HDFC and Maruti are the other major gainers.

Tata Steel and Infosys are down 1% each at Rs 470 and Rs 2,230, respectively.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,158 stocks traded so far, 1,344 have advanced, 755 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
