Sensex up 61pts; breadth +ve

The Sensex is now up 61 points at 15,658.

HDFC has rallied over 2% to Rs 2,151.

Larsen & Toubro, ITC and Tata Steel have surged around 1.5% each to Rs 2,618, Rs 187 and Rs 703, respectively.

Ambuja Cements has slipped 1% to Rs 143.

The market breadth is fairly positive - out of 2,295 stocks traded so far, 1,669 have advanced, 573 have declined and 53 are unchanged.
