Sensex up 61pts; DLF gains 2%

The Sensex is now up 61 points at 20,643.

ICICI Bank has zoomed 5.5% to Rs 1,431.

DLF and Reliance have surged 2.3% each to Rs 1,169 and Rs 3,094, respectively.

HDFC Bank has advanced 1.8% to Rs 1,750, and Tata Motors has added 1.4% to Rs 760.

Cipla, NTPC and TCS are up over 1% each at Rs 205, Rs 269 and Rs 986, respectively.

ACC has plunged 3.5% to Rs 906. Hindustan Unilever has tumbled 3% to Rs 222.

HDFC and Ambuja Cements have shed 2.8% each to Rs 3,040 and Rs 138, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra has slipped 2.5% to Rs 783, and Satyam has declined 1.7% to Rs 413.

Out of 2,829 stocks traded so far, 2,336 have declined, 470 have advanced and 23 are unchanged.
