Sensex up 61pts; Rel Comm surges 3%

The Sensex is now up 61 points at 12,132.

Reliance Communications has soared over 3% to Rs 338. Satyam has surged 2.5% to Rs 845.

TCS and Dr.Reddy's have advanced over 2% each to Rs 1,018 and Rs 770, respectively.

ONGC, Hindalco and NTPC are up 1% each at Rs 1,168, Rs 170 and Rs 130, respectively.

HDFC has slipped over 1% to Rs 1,350. Cipla and Tata Motors are down nearly 1% each at Rs 258 and Rs 852, respectively.

Out of 2,561 stocks traded so far, 1,266 have advanced, 1,203 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
