Sensex up 61pts; Tata Motors soars 5%

The Sensex is now up 61 points at 13,906.

Tata Motors has rallied nearly 5% (Rs 41) to Rs 884. ACC has soared 4% to Rs 1,178.

Larsen & Toubro and Reliance Energy have surged over 3% each to Rs 1,423 and Rs 558, respectively. BHEL has moved up 2.8% to Rs 2,590.

NTPC has gained 2.5% at Rs 152. Maruti has added 1.5% to Rs 966.

Grasim, Hindalco and ITC are up over 1% each at Rs 2,795, Rs 174 and Rs 190, respectively.

Out of 2,602 stocks traded so far, 1,589 have advanced, 948 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
