Sensex up 62pts; Bajaj, Ranbaxy shine

The Sensex is now up 62 points at 14,004.

Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto and Ranbaxy surged over 2.5% each to Rs 955, Rs 2,808 and Rs 408, respectively.

Satyam and Gujarat Ambuja have flared up 1.5% each to Rs 516 and Rs 146, respectively.

Maruti and ACC have advanced over 1% each to Rs 980 and Rs 1,104, respectively.

HDFC has slipped over 1% to Rs 1,600.
