Sensex up 62pts; breadth +ve

The Sensex is now up 62 points at 13,669.

Hindalco has surged 2.5% to Rs 147. Ranbaxy has gained 2% at Rs 343.

BHEL and NTPC have moved up 1.5% each to Rs 2,581 and Rs 159, respectively.

Satyam, ACC, Wipro, Maruti, Reliance Energy and Cipla are up over 1% each at Rs 462, Rs 817, Rs 581, Rs 770, Rs 511 and Rs 232, respectively.

Tata Steel has dropped 5% to Rs 503.

The market breadth is positive - out of 1,790 stocks traded so far, 1,183 have advanced, 556 have declined and 51 are unchanged.
