Sensex up 630pts; DLF, Hindalco zoom 7%

The Sensex is now up 630 points to 17,579.

The NSE Nifty has rallied 189 points to 5,119.

All Sensex stocks are in positive zone.

DLF and Hindalco have zoomed 7% each to Rs 872 and Rs 160, respectively. Hindustan Unilever has soared over 6% to Rs 205.

BHEL and Reliance have surged 5% each to Rs 2,087 and Rs 2,509, respectively.

Reliance Communications, Reliance Energy and HDFC Bank have rallied around 4.5% each to Rs 584, Rs 1,628 and Rs 1,532, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, ICICI Bank and Mahindra & Mahindra have advanced around 4% each to Rs 3,411, Rs 1,141 and Rs 599, respectively.

NTPC and Bharti Airtel have moved up 3.6% each to Rs 195 and Rs 888, respectively.

Tata Steel, ONGC, HDFC and ITC are up over 3% each at Rs 782, Rs 973, Rs 2,807 and Rs 202, respectively.
