Sensex up 630pts; HDFC, HDFC Bank zoom

The Sensex is now up 630 points at 19,665.

HDFC has zoomed 7.4% to Rs 2,779. HDFC Bank has soared 6% to Rs 1,673.

Bharti Airtel has surged 5% to Rs 875. Tata Steel has gained 4% at Rs 866.

BHEL, ICICI Bank, Reliance, Hindalco and Larsen & Toubro have rallied 3.5% each to Rs 2,877, Rs 1,218, Rs 2,789, Rs 211 and Rs 4,515, respectively.

Tata Motors has advanced 3% to Rs 714, and Maruti has added 2.8% to Rs 1,032.

SBI, Wipro, TCS, Satyam, Reliance Communicatons and ONGC are up around 2.5% each to Rs 2,354, Rs 452, Rs 972, Rs 421, Rs 725 and Rs 1,212, respectively.

Reliance Enery, ACC and Grasim have gained around 2% each at Rs 1,890, Rs 1,048 and Rs 3,620, respectively.

Out of 2,645 stocks traded so far, 2,039 have advanced, 557 have declined and 49 are unchanged.
