Sensex up 63pts; Bharti spurts 2%

The Sensex is now up 63 points at 10,831.

Bharti Airtel has rebounded into the positive zone and surged over 2% to Rs 375. BHEL is up 2.2% at Rs 1,955.

NTPC and Hindalco are up nearly 2% each at Rs 117 and Rs 178, respectively.

ONGC, Larsen & Toubro and Gujarat Ambuja have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 1,120, Rs 2,244 and Rs 104, respectively.

Out of 2,222 stocks traded so far, 1,314 have advanced, 841 have declined and 67 are unchanged.
