Sensex up 63pts; breadth turns -ve

The Sensex is now up 63 points at 19,155.

Satyam has zoomed 4% to Rs 421. Infosys has soared 3.6% to Rs 1,697, and TCS has gained 1.6% at Rs 1,038. Wipro has added 1% to Rs 488.

Reliance Energy has surged 4.4% to Rs 1,965. Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Motors have rallied 2% each to Rs 793 and Rs 705, respectively.

Hindalco has moved up 1.7% to Rs 202. DLF is up 1.3% at Rs 964.

Cipla has shed 1.8% at Rs 211, and BHEL has dropped 1.4% to Rs 2,367.

ITC is down 1% at Rs 198.

The market breadth has turned negative - out of 2,895 stocks traded so far, 1,504 have declined, 1,361 have advanced and 30 are unchanged.
