Sensex up 63pts; Infosys advances 2%

The Sensex is now up 63 points at 14,246.

Maruti and BHEL have surged over 2.5% each to Rs 936 and Rs 2,327, respectively. Infosys have moved up nearly 2% to Rs 2,244.

ACC and ITC have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 1,123 and Rs 178, respectively.

TCS and Tata Steel are up 1% each at Rs 1,313 and Rs 472, respectively.

Satyam has slipped 3% to Rs 473. Ranbaxy has shed 2% to Rs 407.

Reliance Energy has dropped 1.3% to Rs 508.

Out of 2,661 stocks traded so far, 1,464 have advanced, 1,132 have declined and 65 are unchanged.
