Sensex up 64pts; SBI soars 4%

The Sensex is now up 64 points at 11,596.

SBI has rallied 4% to Rs 909. Hindalco has surged 3% to Rs 173, and Tata Steel has added 2.5% to Rs 531.

Bajaj Auto has moved up 2.3% to Rs 2,760. HLL has gained 2% at Rs 236.

Satyam has spurted 1% to Rs 817.

Out of 2,518 stocks traded so far, 1,503 have advanced, 935 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
