Sensex up 65pts; Dr.Reddy's gains 2%

The Sensex has pared some gains and is now up 65 points at 13,682. The index had touched a high of 13,745 in the opening trades.

HDFC Bank has surged 2.6% to Rs 1,116. Dr.Reddy's, TCS and Wipro have rallied 2% each to Rs 750, Rs 1,188 and Rs 1,188, respectively.

Cipla and BHEL have moved up 1.5% each to Rs 253 and Rs 2,506, respectively. Maruti is up 1% at Rs 931.

Hindalco, ONGC and ACC are down 1% each at Rs 174, Rs 848 and Rs 377, respectively.

Out of 2,468 stocks traded so far, 1,337 have advanced, 1,051 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
