Sensex up 65pts, Ranbaxy gains 3%

The Sensex is now up 65 points at 11,629.

Ranbaxy has zoomed over 3% (Rs 13) to Rs 453.

HDFC Bank is still up 2.7% (Rs 21) at Rs 793. ICICI Bank is steady at Rs 617 - up Rs 13.

L&T is steady at Rs 2,532 - up Rs 41.

ITC, Wipro, Cipla and HDFC are also trading with gains.
