Sensex up 66pts; Bajaj Auto, TCS soar

The Sensex is now up 66 points to 14,008.

Bajaj Auto has soared 4% to Rs 2,846. Ranbaxy has surged 3.5% to Rs 412.

TCS has flared up nearly 3% to Rs 1,284. Cipla has gained 2.5% at Rs 258.

Infosys has moved up 1.7% to Rs 2,312. Wipro and Satyam have added 1.5% each to Rs 621 and Rs 516, respectively.

Tata Motors, Larsen & Toubro and Bharti Airtel are up over 1% each.

HLL has slipped over 2% to Rs 212. ACC and Tata Steel are down over 1% each to Rs 1,079 and Rs 473, respectively.

Out of 2,687 stocks traded so far, 1,706 have moved up, 920 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
