Sensex up 675pts; ICICI, ONGC soar 5%

The Sensex is now up 675 points at 19,710.

HDFC Bank has zoomed 9.5% to Rs 1,730. HDFC has soared almost 7% to Rs 2,765.

ICICI Bank and ONGC have surged 4.7% each to Rs 1,232 and Rs 1,239, respectively.

Reliance and Infosys have rallied 4% each to Rs 2,805 and Rs 1,693, respectively.

Bharti Airtel and Wipro have gained 3.5% each at Rs 863 and Rs 456, respectively.

Tata Motors, Tata Steel, BHEL, TCS and Larsen & Toubro are up over 3% each at Rs 715, Rs 859, Rs 2,862, Rs 978 and Rs 4,499, respectively.

Out of 2,782 stocks traded so far, 2,035 have advanced, 674 have declined and 73 are unchanged.
